 TEXBRIDGE - Textile & Accessories Fair will be held on March 8-10, 2012 at CNR EXPO Center, Istanbul, TURKEY. 

 
TEXBRIDGE, organized by Istanbul Trade Fairs Inc. with the support of UTIB, brings over 250 selected exhibitors together with more than 10.000 buyers from the Middle East, Balkans, Europe, Russia, C.I.S. and Africa.
 
Turkey, the 8th biggest textile exporter, will showcase its variety in basic raw materials at TEXBRIDGE this year. The wide range of product groups created by local and international exhibitors will offer professional visitors the opportunity to make new business contacts.
 
TEXBRIDGE: To follow the trends
TEXBRIDGE will set the latest trends from fabrics and accessories to ready-to-wear industry. Trend Area at the fair will provide a glimpse of next season’s highlights. With the contribution of exhibitors, Trend Area will inspire the ready-to-wear professionals with the most original products. 
 
In the previous edition of the fair, Trend Area was designed by Michel Minne within the concept ''Impulsive''. To see the previous fair's trendy colour & fabric combinations.
 
During the fair, seminars will be held with the participation of trendsetters in fashion industry.
 
TEXBRIDGE: To see the strong Turkish textiles industry
Turkey is the world’s 4th biggest ready-to-wear manufacturer and 8th biggest textile exporter.
The production value of the sector in Turkey is over US$ 20 billion.
Turkey is 7th largest producer of lint cotton in the world and one of the biggest raw cotton producers at 2,5 million tons annually.
The organic textiles and ready wear sector of Turkey has adequate technical infrastructure, experience, production capacity and the manpower required to fulfil the global demand.
While the export value of the Turkish textile industry is $ 5.4 billion, Turkey exports 49% of textile products to EU countries including Italy, Germany, France, Poland, Bulgaria. The second important country groups is former Russia and CIS countries the share of 17%.
Textile import in Turkey was $ 9.1 billion in 2010, including cotton, gray cloth, cotton yarn, fabrics, synthetic fibers and yarns.
Most of textile imports to Turkey originate from Italy, the USA, Germany, Greece, France, India, South Korea, Pakistan, Indonesia and China.
Highlights from TEXBRIDGE 2011
With the participation of 128 exhibitors from Turkey, France, Italy, Egypt and Greece, TEXBRIDGE 2011 was organized by Istanbul Trade Fairs Inc. and supported by UTIB.
 
Turkey, as an important textile manufacturer in the world, hosted 7880 visitors from 55 countries at TEXBRIDGE 2011. Foreign visitors mainly came from Iran, Moldova, Greece, Russia, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Egypt, England, Tunisia, Morocco, Syria, France, UAE, Germany and Poland.
